Antioxidant 1098 Application scenarios

1. Polyamide Materials:

Especially suitable for injection molded parts, fibers, and films of polyamides such as nylon 6 and nylon 66. It inhibits thermo-oxidative degradation during processing and long-term use, maintaining the material’s original color and mechanical properties. It is suitable for addition during the polyamide polycondensation process and is also commonly used in polyamide parts in the automotive and electronics industries.

2. Polyolefin Products:

Can be used with polyolefins such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), and cross-linked polyethylene, including pipes, wire and cable insulation, film materials, and injection molded products. It improves processing thermal stability and extraction resistance, and is suitable for extrusion and injection molding processes.

3. Styrene and ABS Resins:

Used in resins such as polystyrene (PS) and ABS to inhibit thermo-oxidative aging, maintain the appearance and mechanical properties of products, and is suitable for various injection-molded and extruded electronic casings, household appliance components, and other products.

4. Acetal Resins:

Used in acetal resins such as polyoxymethylene (POM) to prevent thermo-oxidative degradation during processing and use, improving the long-term stability of the material. Suitable for mechanical parts such as gears and bearings.

5. Polyurethane Materials:

Used in polyurethane elastomers, foams, coatings, and adhesives to inhibit polyol oxidation and yellowing of products, extending shelf life and service life. Suitable for polyurethane products in the automotive and construction industries.

6. Rubber and Elastomers:

Suitable for natural rubber, synthetic rubber (such as EPDM, SBS), and elastomers to prevent oxidative aging during processing, storage, and use, maintaining elasticity and mechanical properties. Suitable for tires, seals, hoses, and other products.

7. Other Polymer Materials:

Also used in polyesters, synthetic fibers, lubricating oils, fuel oils, etc., to inhibit thermo-oxidative degradation. Can also be compounded with phosphite-based auxiliary antioxidants and hindered amine light stabilizers to construct highly efficient and stable systems, suitable for outdoor weather-resistant products.

8. Food Contact Materials:

Due to their low toxicity, non-discoloration, and non-polluting properties, they can be used in food contact grade plastics and packaging materials, meeting relevant safety standards and ensuring the safety of the materials during use.
