CHLUMIAO® 300 Usage

1. Antioxidant 300 is a thio-bisphenol antioxidant with the dual function of free radical terminator and hydroperoxide decomposer. It has good compatibility, low volatility, resistance to water extraction, low migration, good thermal stability and high antioxidant efficiency, and can be used in combination with thioester antioxidants or carbon black to produce excellent synergistic effects. It is suitable for polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, PVC, polybutadiene, synthetic rubber, hot melt adhesives, rosin resins, ABS resins, especially for polyethylene wire and cable, to better maintain tensile strength, melt index, elongation, electrical properties. The general dosage is 0.1-0.5%.

2. Suitable for: polyethylene with the following advantages: better maintain the physical properties of its raw materials, (such as tensile strength, elongation, melt index, etc.), good preservation of its electrical properties, high thermal stability, enhance the weather resistance of products, anti-aging effect is four times the effect of the general anti-aging agent, compared with other commonly used antioxidants less volatile, with a special synergistic effect when shared with carbon black.

Antioxidant 300 Application scenarios

1. Long-term stability of polyethylene products:

Suitable for films, pipes, and injection molded parts of low-density polyethylene (LDPE), high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE), inhibiting thermo-oxidative degradation during processing and use. Compatible with extrusion, blow molding, and injection molding processes, especially suitable for outdoor black polyethylene products, exhibiting good synergy with carbon black.

2. Polyolefin wire and cable materials:

Used for polyethylene insulation layers, sheathing materials, chemically cross-linked/silane cross-linked polyethylene insulation materials, semi-conductive shielding materials, etc., maintaining high-temperature processing stability and long-term electrical insulation performance. Suitable for communication cables, high and low voltage power cables, etc.

3. Polypropylene and copolymer processing:

Used for injection molded parts, fibers, and films of homopolymer/copolymer polypropylene, preventing thermo-oxidative degradation and yellowing during processing, maintaining mechanical properties and melt stability. Suitable for automotive parts, appliance housings, and other long-term use products.

4. Styrene and ABS Resins:

Used in polystyrene (PS), high-impact polystyrene (HIPS), ABS, etc., to inhibit thermo-oxidative aging, maintain the appearance and mechanical properties of products, and are suitable for injection-molded/extruded products such as electronic casings and office supplies.

5. White and Light-Colored Rubber Products:
