Synergistically with hindered phenols (such as Irganox 1010), it inhibits thermo-oxidative degradation of PP and PE during high-temperature extrusion/injection molding, protecting molecular weight and mechanical properties. Suitable for food packaging films, automotive parts, pipes, etc. Adding 0.1%–0.3% meets FDA food contact standards.
2. PVC Heat Stabilization and Transparency Maintenance:
Used in rigid PVC (pipes, profiles) and flexible PVC (films, cable materials), it inhibits HCl release and yellowing during processing. Combined with metal soaps and epoxy stabilizers, it improves heat resistance. Adding 0.1%–0.3% is suitable for transparent products and food contact grade materials.
3. Engineering Plastics: Heat and Oxidation Resistance and Color Protection:
Compatible with ABS, PC/ABS, nylon, PET, etc., preventing heat and oxidative degradation during high-temperature processing and long-term use, improving the color and toughness of products. Used in appliance housings, automotive interior parts, electronic components, etc., added at 0.2%–0.4%.
4. Elastomer and Rubber Anti-aging:
Used as an antioxidant in EPDM, SBS, NBR, etc., inhibiting heat and oxidative aging and metal-catalyzed degradation, improving the fatigue resistance of outdoor/high-temperature products such as sealing strips, hoses, and tires. Added at 0.3%–0.5%.
5. Food Contact Material Compliance and Stability:
Low toxicity and compliant with FDA 21 CFR 178.2010, used in food contact grade PP, PE, PVC, PET, etc., such as packaging films, containers, and seals. Controlled addition at 0.1%–0.3% to prevent the migration of harmful substances.
6. Stabilization of Coating and Adhesive Systems:
Prevents pre-crosslinking during storage and curing of solvent-based/water-based coatings and UV-cured adhesives, improves the weather resistance of alkyd resins and acrylic coatings, avoids coating delamination and gelation, suitable for outdoor architectural coatings, automotive refinish paints, etc., add 0.1%–0.3%.
7. Insulation Protection for Wires and Cables:
Chelates metal ions, inhibits the catalytic oxidation of cross-linked PE, PVC, and EVA insulation layers by copper, iron, etc., improves the long-term aging resistance and insulation reliability of power cables and communication cables, add 0.2%–0.4%, suitable for high-temperature and humid environments.
8. Synergistic Compounding of Polymer Anti-aging Systems:
Synergistically combines with hindered phenols, thioether antioxidants, and light stabilizers to construct a highly efficient anti-aging system, improving the weather resistance, heat resistance, and yellowing resistance of materials, suitable for harsh environments such as outdoor building materials (plastic doors and windows, railings), and automotive exterior parts. The compounding ratio is optimized according to the materials.
9. Polyester and Polycarbonate (PC) Stabilizer:
Used in engineering resins such as PET and PC to inhibit thermo-oxidative degradation during processing and use, maintaining the transparency and mechanical properties of products. Suitable for beverage bottles, optical lenses, electronic device housings, etc. Add 0.1%–0.3%.
10. Calcium-Zinc Stabilizer Synergistic Effect:
As an auxiliary component of calcium-zinc composite stabilizers, it improves the thermal stability and weather resistance of PVC during processing, reduces heavy metal dependence, and is suitable for environmentally friendly PVC products. The compounding ratio is adjusted according to the formulation.
