Application Instructions
An aryl phosphite ester antioxidant, which can be used in polyolefins, polyester resins, ABS, PVC, etc. It can provide good color improvement and thermal stability both during processing and in the later stage. As an efficient auxiliary stabilizer and chelating agent, it is widely used in various PVC products, which can keep the products transparent and inhibit color changes. At the same time, it can also increase the antioxidant property and light and heat stability of the main stabilizer. In addition, this product is also used in PE, PP, ABS, SBS and other products, and can be applied in the synthesis of pharmaceutical intermediates and the lithium-ion electrolyte industry for new energy. Suggested addition amount: 0.1-2.0%

Antioxidant TPP Application scenarios

1. Chelation Stabilization of Transparent PVC Products:

Suitable for rigid/flexible PVC, acting as a chelating agent for metal soap stabilizers, inhibiting thermal degradation and discoloration during processing, maintaining transparency. Commonly used in food-grade rigid sheets, medical catheters, heat-shrink films, agricultural films, etc. Often compounded with barium-cadmium, calcium-zinc, etc., the addition amount is generally 0.3% – 1.0%.

2. Processing Protection of Polyolefins (PE/PP):

Inhibits thermal oxidative degradation of PE and PP during high-temperature processing such as extrusion and injection molding, reducing yellowing and decline in mechanical properties. Suitable for films, pipes, injection molded parts, etc., and synergistically enhanced when compounded with hindered phenolic antioxidants.

3. Color Retention of ABS/HIPS Resins:

Prevents thermal oxidative degradation of ABS and HIPS during high-temperature processing, improves yellowing and mechanical degradation, and enhances the appearance and long-term stability of products such as electronic casings and automotive interiors.

4. Polyester/Epoxy Resin Stabilizer:

Used in polyesters such as PET and PBT, and epoxy resins, to inhibit thermal oxidation during processing and use, improving weather resistance and mechanical properties. Suitable for fibers, engineering plastic parts, adhesives, etc., and can be used in combination with primary antioxidants.

5. Synthetic Rubber Anti-aging:

Suitable for styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), nitrile rubber (NBR), butadiene rubber (BR), etc., to inhibit thermal oxidation during high-temperature mixing and vulcanization, improving the durability of elastic threads, seals, hoses, etc. Typical addition level is 1.0% – 2.0%.

6. Coatings and Adhesive Systems:

Added to automotive coatings, industrial anti-corrosion coatings, polyurethane adhesives, etc., to enhance the weather resistance and heat resistance of coatings and adhesive layers, preventing oxidation, yellowing, and chalking. Suitable for various industrial and civil coatings and structural adhesives.

7. Polymer Composite Stabilizer:

Used in the preparation of composite stabilizers, it produces a synergistic effect when combined with primary antioxidants and UV absorbers, enhancing the overall anti-aging effect and adaptable to various polymer processing systems.

8. Organic Synthesis Intermediate:

Used in the synthesis of alkyd resins, polyester resins, as well as pesticide intermediates, trimethyl phosphite, etc., it is an important raw material in organic synthesis.

9. Stabilizer of Other Polymer Materials:

Used in polystyrene (PS), SBS, etc., to improve their thermal stability during processing and use, reducing degradation and yellowing.
