Application Instructions

A high-phosphorus content and highly active diaryl phosphite ester antioxidant, which can be widely used in polyolefins, resin synthesis, lubricating oil, etc., to improve light resistance and color stability. It is used in the synthesis of unsaturated polyester resin and can effectively improve the color of the synthesized resin. This product can also be used as a PVC stabilizer to improve its initial color and has good anti-precipitation performance. Its use in lubricating oil can effectively enhance the oil’s antioxidant and anti-wear properties.
Suggested addition amount: 0.1-1.0%

Antioxidant DPP Application scenarios

1. Plastic Processing Antioxidant Stabilization:

As an auxiliary antioxidant, it is used in plastics such as PVC, PE, PP, ABS, and PS to inhibit thermal oxidative degradation during processing and use, reducing yellowing and decline in mechanical properties. It is suitable for pipes, films, electronic casings, and other products, and is often compounded with hindered phenolic primary antioxidants to enhance its effect.

2. Rubber Thermal Oxidation Protection:

Used in natural rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), and nitrile rubber (NBR), it prevents oxidative aging during high-temperature mixing, vulcanization, and long-term use, improving the heat resistance and service life of elastomers. It is suitable for tires, seals, and hoses.

3. Coating and Adhesive Anti-aging:

Added to automotive coatings, industrial anti-corrosion coatings, and polyurethane adhesives, it inhibits oxidation, yellowing, chalking, and cracking of coatings/adhesive layers, enhancing weather resistance and durability, and extending product lifespan.

4. Organic Synthesis Coupling Reagent:

Used in the synthesis of esters, amides, and complex organic molecules. It can participate in the Kabachnik-Fields reaction to prepare α-aminophosphonates, and is also used in the synthesis of pharmaceutical intermediates such as N-benzylaramides and α-hydroxyphosphonates, making it suitable for drug development and fine chemical industries.

5. Polymer Chelation and Auxiliary Stabilization:

In systems such as PVC, it combines auxiliary antioxidant and metal chelation effects, inhibiting metal ion-catalyzed degradation reactions and improving the thermal stability of materials, especially suitable for products containing metallic pigments or fillers.

6. Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemical Synthesis:

As a key reagent in the synthesis of organophosphine derivatives with antioxidant and antibacterial activities, it can also be used in asymmetric Pudovik addition reactions and visible light-mediated amine oxidative phosphonylation reactions, aiding in new drug development and the preparation of specialty chemicals.

7. Synergistic Stabilizing System Combination:

When combined with hindered phenolic primary antioxidants and ultraviolet absorbers, it produces a synergistic effect, enhancing the anti-aging properties of polymer materials. The typical addition amount is 0.1% – 1.0%, adjusted according to the material system.
