CHLUMIAO® 1135 Usage

Antioxidant 1135 is used in flexible polyurethane foam boards to prevent peroxide formation during storage of polyols and to prevent scorching during foaming, and has excellent antioxidant properties and the convenience of a pumpable liquid additive. Due to its low volatility and excellent compatibility, it is particularly effective in the forced air cooling process of polyurethane.

Antioxidant 1135 Application scenarios

1. Polyurethane Application:

Suitable for polyurethane flexible foam, rigid foam, elastomers, PU shoe materials, artificial leather, etc. It prevents the formation of peroxides during the storage of polyether polyols, avoiding scorching and yellowing during the foaming process. It is compatible with forced air cooling processes, reducing fogging in automotive polyurethane products and coloring issues in textiles.

2. Polyether Polyol Storage:

Used for the storage stability of polyether polyols, inhibiting peroxide formation and ensuring the quality stability of polyols before processing, facilitating subsequent polyurethane synthesis.

3. Polyolefins and Synthetic Resins:

Can be used in polyolefins and synthetic resins such as polyethylene, polypropylene, ABS, and PS, inhibiting thermo-oxidative degradation during processing and use, maintaining the mechanical properties and appearance of products, and is compatible with injection molding, extrusion, and other processes.

4. Rubber and Elastomers:

Applied to natural rubber, synthetic rubber (such as SBS), and elastomer materials, preventing oxidative aging during processing, storage, and use, maintaining elasticity and mechanical properties. Suitable for tires, seals, hoses, and other products.

5. Lubricating Oils and Oils:

As an antioxidant additive for lubricating oils, hydraulic oils, and other oils, it inhibits high-temperature oxidation, slows down viscosity increases and acid value increases, and extends oil service life. It can also be used in internal combustion engine oils to exert antioxidant effects.

6. Coatings and Adhesives:

Used in coatings, adhesives, and other product systems to prevent oxidation of oil and resin components, avoiding discoloration, thickening, and performance degradation, and improving storage stability and service durability.

7. Cosmetics and Personal Care Products:

Used in face creams, lotions, lipsticks, and other cosmetics to protect oil components in the formula from oxidation, prevent rancidity, odor, and discoloration, and extend product shelf life.

8. Composite Stabilizing Systems:

Can be compounded with phosphite-based auxiliary antioxidants, hindered amine light stabilizers, etc., to construct highly efficient stabilizing systems, improving the weather resistance and anti-aging properties of polymer materials, suitable for outdoor products.
