Unique Performance

ZCAT-X16 is an organozinc catalyst, solvent-free, and possesses the typical characteristics of environmentally friendly zinc catalysts.

-Post-curing/post-aging catalyst, shortening molding/demolding/drying time. For higher catalytic activity, it is recommended to use it in combination with BCAT series organobismuths.

-Does not promote foaming, resulting in a foam-free product. Its unique targeting property of not catalyzing the reaction of trace moisture with isocyanates avoids the generation of CO2 bubbles during the reaction.

-Safe and environmentally friendly, with good compatibility. It can be used alone or in combination with other organometallic compounds.

Universally applicable to the polyurethane industry, it can be widely used in aromatic or aliphatic isocyanate systems such as TDI, MDI, HDI, and IPDI. It is recommended for use in polyurethane CASE products (elastomers, two-component sealants, adhesives, coatings), and is especially recommended for room temperature curing plastic running tracks and coatings.

Instructions for Use

-It is recommended to add the polyol (P component) component, preferably after vacuum degassing and before sealing, and stir well. Adding it to the isocyanate (ISO, I component) component is not recommended due to the potential risk of gelation. If it must be added to the isocyanate component, a suitability test must be performed first.

-The dosage depends on the formulation and process, generally 0.1% to 1% of the P component weight. After use, the container must be sealed immediately to avoid leaving it open.

Storage Specifications

-HDPE plastic drums, 25/200kg/drum. Store in a dry, cool warehouse, away from direct sunlight and rain.

-Unopened shelf life is 24 months. Expired drums can still be used normally if they pass inspection.
