Description of characteristics

A slightly yellow, transparent liquid with a density of 1.100-1.140 g/cm³ (25℃), a viscosity of 52000±5000 mPa·s (25℃), and a zinc content of 19±0.5%. It has a characteristic compound odor and is soluble in common polyurethane raw materials. It does not contain restricted heavy metals, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, or phthalates, meeting general environmental regulations.

Alkalmazási területek

Generally applicable to the polyurethane industry, it can be widely used in aromatic or aliphatic isocyanate systems such as TDI, MDI, HDI, and IPDI. It is recommended for use in polyurethane CASE products (elastomers, two-component sealants, adhesives, coatings), and is especially recommended for use in polyurethane soft adhesives such as gel adhesives, flexible shoe heels, and room temperature curing plastic running tracks.

Usage Instructions

It is recommended to add the polyol (P component) component, preferably after vacuum degassing and before sealing, and stir well. Adding it to the isocyanate (ISO, I component) component is not recommended due to the potential risk of gelation. If it must be added to the isocyanate component, a suitability test must be performed first.

The dosage depends on the formulation and process, generally 0.1% to 1% of the weight of the P component. After use, the container must be sealed immediately to avoid leaving it open.

Storage Specifications

HDPE plastic drums, 25/200kg/drum. Store in a dry, cool warehouse, away from direct sunlight and rain. Unopened shelf life is 24 months. Expired drums can still be used normally if they pass inspection.
