Free of restricted heavy metals, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, phthalates, and other such components, it serves as an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional organic tin, mercury, and lead catalysts.
Performance Description
Organobismuth BCAT-20BP and organozinc ZCAT-Z19P possess the typical characteristics of bismuth-zinc catalysts. When used in synthetic running tracks, they exhibit the following properties:
⚫ Organic Bismuth 20BP promotes the NCO/OH reaction and, to a certain extent, reduces side reactions between water and the NCO group, thereby minimizing CO₂ generation; however, its ability to reduce the selectivity of the isocyanate-water reaction is not as effective as that of the Yourun CUCAT series of catalyst products;
⚫ Organic zinc Z19P is a polyurethane catalyst with very weak catalytic activity; in most cases, it is not used alone but is blended with organic bismuth. The weak catalytic properties of organic zinc result in a very long pot life after mixing, which facilitates construction operations;
⚫ The two components are highly compatible and can be blended in any ratio according to construction requirements to achieve a long working time and rapid post-curing.
应用方法
- For use in synthetic track materials, it is recommended to add this product to the polyol (Component B) mixture. It is advisable to add it after dehydration and stir thoroughly; it may also be added during on-site application. Add an appropriate amount based on the ambient temperature to achieve optimal results;
- The dosage depends on the product system, with a general usage range of 0.1–0.5% by weight of Component B;
- This product has moderate viscosity. If dilution is required, it is recommended to use isoparaffinic solvent oils such as D40 to achieve optimal results; polyethers or plasticizers may also be used for dilution;
- It is not recommended to add this product to the isocyanate component (Component A). If addition is necessary, compatibility and storage stability tests must be conducted beforehand.
- Be sure to reseal the container immediately after use.
