UV-1 Usage

UV absorber UV-1(101) is a liquid phenyl methacrylate UV absorber, capable of absorbing 280-350 nm UV light, with a peak absorption of 308 nm. 300-330 nm UV light is almost completely absorbed.

It has good compatibility, low volatility, good thermal stability and high absorption efficiency, and is easily soluble in polyester polyol, polyether polyol, epoxy resin and isocyanate. It is suitable for adhesives, potting adhesives, crystal drip adhesives, especially for polyurethane, hard foam, soft foam, adhesives, elastomers, fabric coatings, PVC, acrylic resins. The general dosage is 0.3-0.5%.

Suitable for: use in polyurethane products such as microcellular foam, traditional rigid foam, semi-rigid foam, flexible foam, fabric coating, certain adhesives, sealants and elastomers as well as polyvinyl chloride, acrylic resins and other polymers all with excellent light stability properties.

Used in sponges, foams, etc., to inhibit UV-induced degradation, improving yellowing resistance and service life.

Suitable for LED encapsulation adhesives, chip potting adhesives, crystal epoxy resins, etc., maintaining high light transmittance and extending device life.

7. High-End Epoxy Coatings:

Such as automotive clear coats and industrial floor coatings, reducing color difference and improving UV aging resistance.

8. Rubber Products:

Delays the aging of rubber under UV light, maintaining tensile strength, elasticity, etc., and improving appearance stability.

9. Fiber and Fabric Coatings:

Improves the light stability of fibers, inhibits oxidative fading, and extends the service life of textiles.

10. Other Polymer Materials:
