1. Polyethylene glycol monomethyl ether methacrylate is the key active macromonomer for synthesizing polycarboxylic acid-based water-reducing agents. As third-generation high-performance water-reducing agents, polycarboxylic acid-based agents evolved from conventional water reducers represented by wood calcium and high-efficiency water reducers represented by naphthalene-based agents.
2. This class of admixtures features low dosage requirements, high water-reduction rates, stable concrete mixes without segregation or bleeding, and minimal slump loss over time. They also exhibit excellent compatibility with cement, mineral admixtures, and other types of additives.
