Het kleuren gebeurt alleen door zich aan het oppervlak te hechten of door organische pigmenten in het inwendige van een voorwerp op te nemen via kleefstoffen of filmvormende stoffen. De tussenproducten, apparatuur en het syntheseproces die nodig zijn voor de productie zijn vergelijkbaar met die gebruikt worden bij de productie van kleurstoffen, dus organische pigmenten worden vaak geproduceerd binnen de kleurstoffenindustrie.\r\n\r\n<strong><b>Waar worden organische pigmenten gebruikt?<\/b><\/strong>\r\n\r\nVergeleken met anorganische pigmenten hebben organische pigmenten over het algemeen een hogere kleurkracht, zijn ze gemakkelijker te malen en te dispergeren en hebben ze minder neiging tot bezinken. They also have low density and are non-toxic. However, some varieties are often less resistant to light, heat, solvents, and migration than inorganic pigments. While the variety of colors is endless and vibrant, there are inherent connections between them. Each color can be defined by three parameters: hue, value, and saturation. Hue is the characteristic that distinguishes one color from another. It is determined by the chromatographic composition of the light source and the perception of the wavelengths emitted by the surface of an object to the human eye. It distinguishes between red, yellow, green, blue, and violet. Value, also known as brightness, is a characteristic value that indicates the degree of lightness or darkness of an object&#8217;s surface. By comparing the value of various colors, we can distinguish between bright and dark colors.\r\n\r\nOrganic pigments encompass a variety of chemical families and cover a wide range of properties. Generally speaking, organic pigments are primarily used for applications requiring high tinting strength and vibrant hues, while inorganic pigments are primarily used for applications requiring high opacity.\r\n\r\nWe can distinguish three main categories of organic pigments: polycyclic; azo (monoazo and disazo); and metal complexes.
