While the variety of colors is endless and vibrant, there are inherent connections between them. Each color can be defined by three parameters: hue, value, and saturation. Hue is the characteristic that distinguishes one color from another. It is determined by the chromatographic composition of the light source and the perception of the wavelengths emitted by the surface of an object to the human eye. It distinguishes between red, yellow, green, blue, and violet. Value, also known as brightness, is a characteristic value that indicates the degree of lightness or darkness of an object&#8217;s surface.
