Perfluoroalkyl Ethylenes Application scenarios

1. Synthesis of Fluorinated Surfactants:

Used as a key raw material to prepare waterproof and oil-repellent fluorinated surfactants for fabric finishing, coating leveling, fire-fighting foams, and ink dispersion, reducing surface tension and improving wetting and penetration properties.

2. Fluoropolymer Comonomers:

Copolymerized with tetrafluoroethylene, vinylidene fluoride, etc., to prepare fluorinated resins (such as PFA, melt-processable polytetrafluoroethylene) and fluororubber, imparting chemical resistance, high temperature resistance, and low friction properties to materials, used in chemical equipment linings, seals, and aerospace components.

3. Polymer Surface Modification:

Introducing perfluoroalkyl groups through grafting or copolymerization to improve the surface properties of plastics, rubber, and fibers, such as enhancing the anti-fouling properties of polyolefin films and the water and oil repellency of polyester fibers, suitable for outdoor building materials and textile fabrics.

4. High-Performance Coatings and Films:

Used to formulate anti-fouling coatings, weather-resistant coatings, and hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings, such as marine anti-fouling paints, self-cleaning coatings for building exteriors, and protective coatings for electronic components, enhancing the corrosion resistance and service life of coatings.

5. Specialty Lubricants and Additives:

Used as additives in lubricating greases and mold release agents to reduce friction coefficients and improve lubrication efficiency and mold release effects, suitable for precision machining, mold manufacturing, and plastic molding.

6. Functional Material Intermediates:

Used to synthesize fluorinated functional materials, such as fluorinated membrane materials, fluorinated elastomers, and fluorinated adhesives, applied in fuel cell proton exchange membranes, sealing materials, and special bonding fields.

7. Electronic and New Energy Materials:

Used in electronic component packaging materials, lithium battery electrolyte additives, and photovoltaic module backsheet coatings, improving the chemical resistance, insulation, and stability of materials.

8. Other Industrial Applications:

In the fire-fighting field, used to prepare fluoroprotein foam fire extinguishing agents; in petrochemicals, used as an additive in oil displacement agents to improve crude oil recovery; in the paper industry, used for waterproofing and oil-proofing paper.
