360 Usage

1. This product also has a very low volatility, can be used with other light stabilizers or antioxidants, especially suitable for processing, aging within the high temperature environment, it can be molded as a powder, solution or melt extrusion, can prevent crystalline seepage and sublimation, it is suitable for casting, thin layer construction of fibers, paper and wallpaper, etc.; This product is suitable for acrylate, polyester, polycarbonate, polyformaldehyde, polyamide, polyolefin, Styrene polymers, elastomers, adhesives, etc.

2. UV-360 is a benzotriazole-type UV absorber, capable of absorbing 300-400nm UV light, with a peak absorption of 353nm. It has high temperature resistance, extraction resistance, low volatility, low migration, good thermal stability, high absorption efficiency and anti-oxidation properties, etc. It is suitable for acrylic resin, polycarbonate, polystyrene, polyphenylene sulfide, polyphenylene ether, polyamide, polyformaldehyde, styrene copolymer. It is particularly suitable for high temperature processing conditions where high additive levels, high compatibility, high UV loading, low volatility and low migration are required to achieve high UV loading performance while reducing sublimation at the exit point and preventing deposition on mouldings and cooling rollers. Particularly suitable for bilayers, adhesive layers, laminating or co-extruding layers, direct bilayer extrusion of flakes without the use of a third layer, avoiding high temperature bleeding and surface crystallisation, preventing sublimation and high UV load deposition. Typical dosage is 0.1-0.5%.

3. Suitable for: processing where high UV loading, low volatility and good compatibility conditions are required. The aim is to achieve excellent UV shielding, reduce sublimation during venting and at the same time avoid deposits on moulds, cooling rollers and calibrators. It is able to avoid bleeding or crystallisation on the outside of the part during processing or high service temperatures. These features are particularly suitable for use on laminated film parts, fibres, flakes, double flakes, adhesive layers and laminated or co-extruded semi-finished parts.

360 Application scenarios

1. Polycarbonate (PC) Products:

Used in PC films, sheets, plates, and injection-molded parts (such as outdoor charging station housings, automotive lampshades, and optical lenses) to prevent photo-oxidative aging, yellowing, and embrittlement, and is suitable for high-temperature processing.

2. Polyester Materials (PET/PBT):

Suitable for PET/PBT fibers, films, sheets, and packaging containers, especially food-contact grade polyester products, inhibiting light-induced fading and degradation.

3. Polyamide (PA) and Polyoxymethylene (POM):

Used in PA fibers, films, injection-molded parts, and POM products to improve light resistance and slow down the decline in mechanical properties caused by ultraviolet radiation.

4. Polyolefin Products:

Suitable for PP (flat filaments, injection-molded parts, plates) and PE (films, pipes, containers), preventing outdoor aging and discoloration of products, and suitable for both thick-walled and thin-walled products.

5. Styrenic Polymers:

Used in PS, ABS, SAN, etc., to prevent yellowing and embrittlement of products due to light exposure, suitable for electronic and electrical appliance housings, daily necessities, etc.

6. Engineering Plastics and High-Performance Materials:

Suitable for PPS, PPO, etc., maintaining material stability in high-temperature and strong ultraviolet environments.

7. Coatings and Inks:

Acrylic, polyurethane, epoxy, and other industrial coatings and outdoor inks, improving the weather resistance of coatings and inks, and preventing fading and chalking.

8. Adhesives and Sealants:

Suitable for acrylic, epoxy, and polyurethane adhesives and sealants, delaying the decrease in bonding strength and aging caused by ultraviolet radiation.

9. Cosmetics and Sunscreen Products:

Used as a broad-spectrum sunscreen agent, compounded to increase SPF/PA values, suitable for high-sun protection formulations.
Fibers and Textiles: Used in polyester, nylon, and other fibers and fabrics to prevent sun-induced fading and embrittlement, extending service life.

10. Films and Sheets:

Food packaging films, agricultural films, and building decorative sheets, reducing the damage caused by ultraviolet radiation to films and their contents.

11. Light Stabilizer Blending Systems:

They are often blended with hindered amine light stabilizers (HALS) and antioxidants to synergistically enhance light stabilization effects in plastics and coatings.
