UV-3039 Usage

1. UV absorber UV-3039 is a liquid acrylate UV absorber, oil soluble sunscreen, capable of absorbing 280-350nm UV light, with a peak absorption of 303nm. It has good compatibility, low volatility, good dispersion and high absorption efficiency, and is easily soluble in plasticizers, polar and non-polar solvents.

2. Suitable for PVC, PUR, PMMA, organosilicon emulsions, especially for PVC and PVC plastisols. The synergistic effect is remarkable when used with light stabilizers and antioxidants. The general dosage is 0.1-0.5%.

UV-3039 Storage:

Being kept in dry, clean warehouse with well ventilation.
Avoid exposing to light and heating for prevention of oxidation.
Protecting the product from leakage, rain and insolation during transportation.

UV-3039 Application scenarios

1. Sunscreen Cosmetics:

As a compliant UVB + partial UVA filter, it is used in sunscreens, sun lotions, sun sprays, etc., stabilizing UVA sunscreens such as avobenzone and improving the photostability of the formula.

2. Makeup and Skincare Products:

Added to foundations, lipsticks, primers, moisturizers, etc., to provide auxiliary sun protection and reduce UV damage to product ingredients and the skin.

3. PVC Products:

Suitable for soft/hard PVC and PVC plastisols, such as films, pipes, cable sheaths, and artificial leather, inhibiting UV-induced aging and discoloration.

4. Paints and Coatings:

Used in coatings based on acrylic resins, polyurethanes, nitrocellulose, etc., such as automotive paints, industrial protective paints, and wood coatings, maintaining gloss and adhesion and reducing the risk of cracking.

5. Adhesives and Sealants:

Used in acrylic and polyurethane adhesives and sealants to improve weather resistance, suitable for outdoor construction, automotive, and other applications.

6. Polyester and Acrylic Materials:

Suitable for polyester films, plexiglass (PMMA) sheets, etc., delaying the decrease in light transmittance and yellowing, and extending service life.

7. Plastics and Resin Products:

Used in nitrocellulose and some engineering plastics as a light stabilizer to improve the aging resistance of materials in outdoor environments.

8. Dyes and Inks:

Added to outdoor dyes and printing inks to inhibit photo-induced fading and maintain color stability.

9. Fiber and Fabric Treatment:

Used for UV-resistant finishing of synthetic fibers and textiles to improve light fastness and reduce sun damage.

10. Other Polymer Systems:

Combined with hindered amine light stabilizers (HALS), etc., for various polymer materials requiring UV protection to achieve synergistic effects.
